As a fundamental part of our mission for social change, at NGO República we are passionately dedicated to promoting art and culture as catalysts for transformation in Colombia. We recognize in these expressions the capacity to inspire, educate, and unite communities towards a more prosperous and peaceful future. Through a variety of non-formal art and culture training initiatives, from audiovisual to performing arts, we aim not only to nurture creative talent but also to foster intercultural dialogue and social cohesion. We firmly believe in the potential of art to positively influence society, thereby contributing to the construction of a more inclusive and vibrant Colombia.

"Cinema for Peace"

Through this project, we bring film screenings with themes of reconciliation and peace to communities affected by armed conflict in Colombia. These screenings are accompanied by dialogue and reflection activities to foster understanding and peacebuilding.

"Art in Motion"

This project provides weekly graffiti and urban art workshops in marginalized neighborhoods. We aim not only to promote artistic expression but also to revitalize public spaces and empower young people through art.

"Melodies for Memory"

This program provides music therapy sessions for patients with Alzheimer's and related diagnoses, developed in partnership with our Spanish ally, Spectra. We aim to enhance cognitive function, reduce anxiety, and improve quality of life through the therapeutic power of music.
